Oh ya I remember MMF, did it in boot, 94, I remember the idiot that drove the hummer almost rolled it trying to get up the damn thing.
Did anyone get to take "the walk on the beach"? Our DI let us walk in the ocean, of course in full gear, with the water up to our arses

We did the walk, but we had to do it in the unpacked sand so you couldnt get footing. Good times. |

Did field week and The Crucible in Dec '07, and MCT in Feb '08. Was told MMF wasn't getting hiked any more.

Plt. 1082 Aug. 2001--Grim Reaper--OVERRATED!!!
There were plenty of other steeper grade "hills" in Camp Pendleton that made me dig deeper.

I went thru in 1989. We didnt do it in boot camp but we did in MCT. It nearly killed me after a month of recruiters assistance! LOL!
One guy had a heat stroke or something like that.
