I'm not going in my uniform cause I don't have my cover, (it's still in GA!) so I'm going as a normal person. No autographs, please...

All the pictures I have are from the beach and water park this summer and all of them have my son in ythe picture.....he's irresistable, so everyone tells us.

You are forgetting we are not the only two here. A picture of myself in speedos would require a level of narcissism that I neither possess nor desire, if taken on purpose. Even then if I owned a picture of myself in such attire that was taken accidentally or without either my knowledge or consent, it would require that same conceit to post it.

Furthermore, I would never hear the end of the event with the majority of forum members here being males, males that are Marines and as such being individuals with type A, alpha male mentality.

They gave us stickers and asked us to put a veteran's name on it. It says, "My vote honors vetaran ______". I put Cpl Jason Dunham on mine.

There were many Saturday mornings this summer that I rolled over at 05, 0530 to look at the clock and wanted to stay in bed. But, the picture above is the end result of getting up out of bed, packing the car for 40-45 minutes, and getting on the road for 06,0630 to make sure we make it to beach in time to still get a parking spot.

Beach umbrellas $15 each on Mastercard at Wal-Mart, gas, ice, water and snacks at Sunoco $42.50 on Mastercard, breakfast at IHOP $27.50 on Masetrcard.....the smile on my son's face all day long at the beach...priceless.

Well, you're right...he is a cutie! My daughter's hair stuck up like that when she was a baby. My mom couldn't stand it! I thought it was funny! Congrats on your beautiful family!!

Logisticsguru: cute kid, it is obvious that the youngster got his mothers nose.

Thank God for that, unfortunately he already has my temperment. On one of the trips to the beach this summer I went off on a rant due to this bafoon on a cell phone meandering in and out of the left lane at about 45 MPH. He copied as best he could what I said and gave the guy his own repimand. They really do imitate, at the time it was hysterical and a wake up call.
