Worked too hard not to have to post those kind of pics for anyone, but if you want kini pics they invented the hog board for that.

Now if you want a regular one check with the squadbay and see if they still have my old pic..

Good Evening Devil Dogs.

Joined the Corps January 1980. Spent a pleasent time at PI, 1st Bn A Co. Plt 1010. Lovely time had by all, especially me since one of my DI's was my best friends brother. From there I went to MCAGCC MCCES at 29 Palms to become a 2841 Ground Radio Repairman. They sent me back east to 2nd FSSG, 2nd Maint Bn, ELMACO. Stayed there until I got out in October 2003 as a Cpl. Today I interact with my local fellow Marines in a motorcycle club outside of Atlanta. Do you know how hard it is to find memebers for a club that have two basic requirements? 1) Must drive a motorcycle. 2) Must be a Marine.

My name is Eddie Gilbert. I,m a former active duty Marine (FEB 1970 - NOV 1978). Boot Camp at MCRD Parris Island, ITR at Camp Geiger, H&MS 26-MCAS(H) New River, 2nd MAW Shooting Team, Recruiting duty in the Danville, VA area, H&MS 32 & H&MS 14 at MCAS Cherry Point, Markmanship Coach. Got out as a SSgt. My MOS was 6077 (Aircraft Ground Support Equipment Electrician).

I also held secondary MOS's as a Recruiter and as a Marksmanship Coach (I was on the 2nd Marine Air Wing Rifle & Pistol Team for about six months... sweet duty!).

In the 1980's I did a year in the North Carolina Army National Guard at Company A, 1st Battalion, 120th Infantry in Jacksonville, NC

In the 1990's I did two years in the Ohio Army National Guard at Troop G, 2/107th Armored Cavalry, Cleveland, OH

Yeah, I know...

You're all saying "Army National Guard? WTF?"

Trust me...

The Army needs all the former Marines it can get!

Which brings me to the current time...

The communists and terrorists have pi**ed me off yet again, so I'm in the process of enlisting in the Ohio Military Reserve. (All of the other recruiters keep telling me some bullsh** about me being too old (I'm ONLY 55, dammit!)to go back on active duty, or even going back into the National Guard!... bunch of friggin' yahoo's!).

Actually, the OHMR will let me keep my Marine Corps rank as SSgt and let me keep all my Time-in-Grade (over 3 years... sweet). And... don't worry, boys and girls, I WILL "get it in writing"!

I'm also a Police Officer here in Cleveland, Ohio.

Looking forward to associating with you guys.

Semper Fi,

Eddie Gilbert

My name is Victor Colon and I served in the Marine Corps from April of 86 to November of 90 (extended for a tour on Embassy Duty). My MOS was Combat Engineer 1371.

I am happy to be here among Marines of all eras; to those of us and those like us... especially to those that are out there kicking @&& right now! I am proud of our Corps.
