F-yeah! I posted something worthy of a temporary position at the top of the forum!

I'm tootally expecting flak from everyone (with the exception of Hulin), but I am way too happy to care.
So I finally got a cat! I've been wanting one for years! It's a slightly used 2006 Maine Coon model with a shiny black/grey tabby exterior. He goes by the name Sergeant Thug. Around the house, he prefers to be called Toby. About the nicest cat ever!
Yeesh... I'm not looking to have any kidlets. I can have my girlfriend do it. She wants to own half of it. I say, if so, she gets the messy end and the duties that accompany it.
Great! Your cat can play with my dog. There they go no....whoops, where'd Toby go? Rocky, what's that thing hanging out of your mouth? Is that Toby's tail? Damn it dog, what'd I tell you about that? Always hide the evidence!
After I had to bury the last casualty (Tiger), a cat was around my truck one morning meowing. I picked him up and saved him from the evil dog and he is the latest rescue kitty! He really likes my other rescue kitty and they may even have baby kitties!
My wife just brought home another cat, little white fuzzy mf'er. He has been dubbed "Moses" because the second he walked in the dog and the other cat split. So now my daughter's kitty (Shakespear) has a play mate. 100 lb yellow lab is scared s**tless of the little white one.

Believe it or not, you CAN train a cat to use the toilet...
Google it and I bet you can find some good information on it.
BTW - The last cat I had was named "Putz"...not the most graceful and had a habit of falling of everything she jumped onto....she was a cutie though and I had to put her down a few years ago.
Haven't had the heart to get a new one since.

For New Years go get a nice used one from the pound or at Petsmart they have them to adopt,I try to get one when we go,but girlfriend say's 4 is enough
Never had to pursue getting a cat or a dog, they show up, say "Here I am, feed me." and stay until they pass away or decide to follow one of the kids home.
The Tom we have now,the girls found in the wall at the farm doing horses,he was about 2 days old.the vet looked at him and said the heat kept him alive and well,it was weird all his pink, nose toes and stuff were bright red,we thought a raccoon dropped him on the way to be dinner.
