Hey Marines
I am graduating from Dam Neck VA intell school. And I am getting stationed in Camp Pendleton California. Anyone else stationed there? I am kind of nervous..is it nice there? I hear its huge and theres a lot of PT in the mountains and ****. ANy comments advice or whatever is welcomed

Pendleton is cool, enjoy your stay.

Camp Pendleton is a great duty station. 45 minute drive to San Diego and a 90 minute drive to Los Angeles.

I use to be stationed there, and now currently living in L.A. There is a lot to see and do in southern Cali. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have in this area. If you and your husband want to meet me for dinner, I'll be glad meet up with you two. Congratulations on completing MOS school.

$hit... I didn't know and sorry to bring it up. I'll see if I can get a mil.com get together, and possibly hang out down there. So the offer still stands. I have two cousins, and countless friends on or near the base that I need to visit. By the way, when are you arriving on the West Coast?

yeah that would be awesome..i will be getting down there around the 11-12th. When get there i have a lot of damage control to do...not gonna lie. i messed up a lot at MOS school..but i intend to make it very different down in Cali.

Damage control huh... LOL. Not a problem. Drop me a line if you want me to take the handle on a BBQ or a club/drink fest.

I take it you aren't looking forward to hanging out with Marines you work with. LOL. Get a list going on what you want to see or do, and I'll give you "intel" if it's good to go or not.

Pendleton is wonderful, depending on where you are stationed. I remember Horno being a lousy place to be if you didn't have a car.

I take it SFLM is having a great time out here in SoCal. She hasn't been seen on here for quite sometime.

haha noooo you def didnt scare me off...i got in some trouble in mos school..got dropped three days before graduation...got njp'd for underage drinking in front of my whole class. :S BUT im coming to cali on nov 5, checkin in on the 6th..i made it, and i got to keep my mos..2 njp's later :S not a good start at all, but im gonna do what i can to repair it, its not the end, just a bump in the road, well more like a crater that makes your tire go flat and then you have to get a new one..lol i got sent to sarp and everything.. but i am excited to get a start on my career and really buckle down and show everyone that i can be a good marine ...u still down to chill hollywood?
