You haven't missed out on your chance to get one; they are still quite cheap as the P38 and P1 were produced well after WWII. They're not too hard on the wallet.
Yeah , I got side tracked on the Miltary gun supply links for a bit there .....noticed they had uppers for ARs in 5.45x39 .
Thanks for the links !
Just took a picture of this 1942 Russian Nagant ( on my pro. pic ! ) with four hash/slash marks embedded in buttstock .22 pistol outshot it at a hundred yards though
Your Nagant is awesome! I love battlefield-personalized weapons. I think they have more historical value than others. The only one I have is my PMKMS with the initials "IKA" carved into the foreward hand grips.
I've been meaning to pick up a M91/30 or M44, but even with the insanely low prices, I haven't gotten around to it yet.
If you get one ....I would recommend the M-44 ....The M-91 I got is pretty much a wall hanger now .....put about 300 rounds through it ....I think the barrel is shot now ....Curio Relic for sure .
PMKMS is cool ....the Polish are a pretty good allie now .
Later KingVoodo... better get a couple hours sleep .... maybe a horror flick will put me to sleep .
Yeah, they made some great rifles. Plus, they just went to the M16 family for their troops to distance themselves from the other Warsaw Pact countries. I read most were Bushmaster contracts.
Good luck with the sleep! I think I'm going to be pulling a 48.
