Does anyone know how the Army enlisted to officer program works? How long does it take to get a MD? How much and for how long does the Army pay for it? And what paygrade will I be while I attend school (my enlisted pay or O1 pay)?

Thank you!
Which commissionin gprogram are you talking about? The Army currently has the IPAP for training and commissioning Physician Assistants in the Medical Specialist Corps. The AMEDD Enlisted Commissioning Program is for Soldiers to finish a four year Bachelor of Nursing Science degree and receive a commission as a Nurse Corps Officer. Additionally Soldiers can apply for OCS and request (but there are no guarantees) Medical Service Corps as their branch, though this is more admnistrative than medical.
Which program are you asking about?
How long does it take to be an MD? Well, medical school is typically 4 years, although you must have a bachelors degree before you start. So they short answer is 8 years. Though there is a little more to it then that.
I guess the AMEDD Nurse Corps, or the MO program, I'm just trying to figure out if I can become a doctor from year one to year eight from the military, or if they'll only cover a nursing degree.
If you don't already qualify for acceptance to medical school then there isn't a way to get the Army to pay for medical school. If you already have a 4 year degree and a good MCAT score you can apply for medical school and request the military foot the bill, (there are a few different ways for this to happen) however if you don't have a college degree yet then that's a long way off.
