This is probably not the place to post this but I'm doing it anyway.
As my day is going on, I'm getting more and more irritated.
My little sister whos deployed right now, told me she has to be a battle buddy to a girl thats out there with her that needs eye surgery. She's been at her FOB since late March and hasn't been out of there since...so now i'm nervous that she's getting out there. By helicopter.... I guess I'd rather her travel by air than on ground but I dont know. I'm still freaked out. I just want to throw stuff around in my office for some reason.....
No sense in getting nervous or freaked out about it. Plenty of people travel by helicopter in plenty of countries.... Plus you say your sister hasn't been away from the or out of the wire since she has been there so this might be a nice break for her to get away from the FOB.
I am sure she will be fine, as she is escorting her fellow servicemember for her eye surgery. Maybe you will get an extra phone call or so...
