I'm in the process of working with a local recruiter and going over the paperwork for enlisting. I'm particulalry interested in a medical MOS, but I was told today that might not be possible because I have a DUI from 2002 on my record.
I have not been in any trouble since then and have an otherwise spotless record. I was told that even 1 DUI can disqulaify from medical service in teh Army, or it will take a waiver from a Commander.
ANy help or insight would be very helpful. I really want to serve but want a job me and my family are going to be happy with.

wow is there anything else on the record that could qualify as well? I have a probation on mine that is old from like 2001 as well...
