Is it possible to take leave during school? Since it's so long and all...? No. You'll get exodus for Christmas.
I've got dependents. Since it's PCS move, will I be assigned non-barracks housing? It's possible, try to make arrangements now.
What priviledges (or different view, no restrictions the IET Soldiers have) for prior service? Not many. You'll be able to go off post during non-duty hours. You'll probably live off post so that's a moot point.
Does 68P get to do a FTX? You'll go to Camp Bullis for like a week. What's a daily schedule like for prior-service? 0600 PT for a little over an hour. 9am classes begin. Around noonish you go to lunch for an hour. 1630 you'll be released from classes and go stand in a formation for about 1.5 to 2 hours under the fricking hot a$$ sun wearing a black wool beret. Then be released for the night..study for a couple of hours 2-3 times a week. Things may have changed w/ cadrebut this is the way it was back in '07 w/ drill sgts.
