I came across this website for die cast tank models if anyone is interested. My son, a PFC in the Marines is suppose to be heading to school anytime now for Amphibious Assault Vehicles so I thought I'd get one for his upcoming birthday.

It's pretty accurate, minus the suspension...the suspension and exhaust is newer in this photo.

Since he is at MOS training, he asked if I would keep it displayed in my living room. His birthday gift in my living room. I can't help but feel like the husband that buys the new plasma TV for his wife for their anniversary.....just in time for football season!

I finally got to see the real things when I visited Camp Lejeune to see my son last week.

Pretty impressive seeing them sitting in that fenced in yard down by the water. I just wish I could have been there to see them running around but it was on a Saturday.
