Dependents may not fly Space A within CONUS unless their sponsor flies with them or the above condition is met( a command letter is required)
as for an AMC flight actually going to Ohare, doubtful.. the airline that used to run all the Patriot Express flights went belly up a few weeks ago.

Only Patriot Express on the West Coast run was canceled due to the airline going bankrupt but it is now back up and running again. The ones to Europe were not affected.
She cannot use Space A unless she is the spouse of an AD member who is gone longer than 120 days and has a command sponsored letter.
For discounts her best bet would be to try Southwest Airlines often they give discounts to military.
