Every once in a while, especially when I hear of votes on cost of living increases, politicians pay raises, etc. I drop a line to my Congressman and Senator, asking why we vets only get 2 or so percent increase year over year, when clearly our buying power drops everytime the gas or heating fuel rises, which appears to be weekly. If every vet on COMP. sent ongoing notes to their reps maybe, just maybe the government might decide to bring us back to a living wage. For those of us are 100% with unemployability we can't get a part time job to help defer these major increases. With numbers maybe they will listen more.

Hello, everyone should be happy this year, our COLA is going to be 5.8% or .058 times your current VA amount.
I have a spreadsheet for the retired military who are drawing CRDP. I am using Excel, it will compute your retired pay, CRDP and Social Security and carry the numbers out for some 30 years. Anyone who would like a copy, please send me an email through my profile at military.com. Let me know if your retired pay, before any deductions, is less or more than your VA payment. Again, this is for anyone receiving CRDP and a VA rating of 50% and higher. May God richly bless and keep each of you. In His Service, Grover This message has been edited.
