Hello
My husband retired from the USMC 3 1/2 yrs ago on a medical board. He had major back surgery 9 months before he retired, as well as several knee and ankle surgeries over the course of his 20 yr active duty. Unfortunately, he never has gotten disability status. He was remiss in applying and filing the required paperwork, so we are paying tax on 100% of his retirement pay. My questions: 1. WHERE do we go to rectify this, where do we apply? 2. Is it too late? Thank you from a frustrated retired Marine's wife! |

Please see the reply in Disability Compensation. You do not need to post this twice in two places.
