Agreed. The Military Industrial Complex will be the end of us all if we don't dismantle it soon. We think we've accomplished something by cutting the number of nukes drastically but there are still more than enough to incinerate us all. Can you believe there are still those who think a limited nuclear war is possible? That some people think nuking our enemies will solve everything? How incredibly ignorant and arrogant. I'm usually an optimist but I'm afraid it may be too late.
I can agree what you say,I wonder how did those who think a limited nuke war ,reacted on Japan ,with a accident in reactor?It gave the world another look on nuclaire energie,even some countries stopped building moreplants.I dont think their is a safe reactor system anywere with natural disasters,look how the world held their breath again,it shows it!
The Nation is almost on the brink of crumbles now with our national debt, bad politicians and CNC. To last a little longer we should cut aid out to other countries, which already don't like us anyway and let the fend for themselves. I haven't seen aid coming to the USA after we have natural desasters. Just by cutting aid to other countries, we could save billions per year. Become a sepratis nation again and kick the **** out of any country that messes with us for doing it. Kick the UN out of New york and stop paying for something that is worthless. Save another couple of billion just by geting out of the UN.
We should cut all aid.We wont have any wheat over for ourselfs with these climates latelly,Borders must be secured more then ever,drones we should not shut out ,,they might save alot of gas as theyre video sees everything.Crissis is crissis lets get on with our lives pull all our troops out and start USA again ..If they can do it in the 50's60'70'80' we can do it better now..rebuild our USA follow our constitutionlike it was written to "To Obey"!
We need to cut the military budget by doing away with useless weapons systems that have no practical applications, aggressively prosecute war profiteering military contractors, end corporate welfare and make laws that prevent corporations from sending jobs overseas. As far as isolationism goes, like it or not we are the World's policeman because of our global wide interests and the responsibility that comes with being the most powerful nation on earth. Illegal immigration is just a minor irritation compared to these other problems and you and I know the basis for anti-immigrant sentiment is plain old fashioned racism. It's a red herring meant to avert our eyes from the real problems. Cutting off aid to developing countries is a drop in the bucket too and people who are against it dont understand it's importance to global stability. If we continue to ignore these truths we are finished. It is already happening my friend.
I do hope our kids can enjoy the campings,yosemite,hunting,etc like we did,and with a little faith theyll keep their jobs and homes,more I cant really say but hope for the best for all the USA and that times will return to normal in their way.
Getting back to the original subject matter of who will defeat the USA eventually. Here is my limited uptake on the subject. Ultimately the downfall and total defeat of the USA will be our own government spurred on by both the extreme left and the extreme right, fueled by the do nothing know nothing half-conscious citizens who think if they just ignore the problem it will disappear. Our citizenry has and always will be comprised mostly of lemmings who act just like sheep in the meadow without a purpose other than to exist. Allowing themselves to be fat dumb and happy barely objecting to the fleecing they receive every year. That is true of not only folks in the USA but of folks everywhere in this planet. However in the USA there used to be 2 sacred documents 1 was the declaration of independence, the other was the US Constitution, #1 cannot stand without the adherence to #2 a few of the ratified changes to it over the years should have had a much tighter rein on the calligraphers that put pen to paper then subsequently managed to get them signed into law. Every cabinet member congress person or senator & commander in chief has sworn to uphold the constitution but few have in my opinion have ever read it or understood its true meaning. This is taken a little out of context and not a quote but when the words to this effect are read (A government shall be elected of the people by the people and for the people) it can mean only 1 thing. That the government was established is to serve its citizenry not the other way round. Allowing any government to become a bloated overfed wasteful money eating machine can be attributed to only one fault, and the blame rest squarely every person who voted the government persons into office without understanding the issues or their agenda before pulling the lever
The US is geographically isolated from the Europe and Asia, which makes it difficult to be attacked by other countries. If the US is to be defeated, it would be probably due to Americans. Civil war.

This nation is very different, now. Who will defeat us? We're deep inside this proverbial territory as I type this. That election of Nov. '08 was a "takeover from within" which, of course is/was the only way the greatest nation on earth could be "had."
However, I have strong faith that "handcuffs on the Subversives" will prevail, and that the US of A, and We, The People are, without question, going to prevail.

The way I see it our own political parties are our own worst enemy. They believe in working for their own party and their own benefits when they should be working for the country and our people. Our nation is in financial ruin and no one wants to fix the problem. One says tax and spend while the other says take from the poor don’t tax the rich. Some don’t want to pay their fair share of taxes. The poor are living paycheck to paycheck as bills continue to climb. I see men and women with college degrees homeless on our streets and at food pantries at no fault of their own. Many have lost everything including their homes while the bankers pay themselves millions along with huge bonuses and the depositors get only pennies on their savings. People have to make decisions on food or shelter, food or medicine. We send aid to other nations while our own people are going hungry. We have a major problem and it worries me as a citizen living on retirement income. Retirement benefits are being reduced for many Americans in their old age all across this nation. I would like to turn the elected officials across my lap and give them a good spanking and send them home. I know ACLU would sue me for cruelty and abuse or our Government would have me locked up for being a terrorist. Gosh, sometimes one just can’t win.
The original question was "who will defeat the USA eventually? - Don't you find it strange how some hide behind thier Swiss University and others complain about thier taxes to support foreign aid? While still others cmplain about Nike and addidas?
They acr as though its a matter of American policy - the question they should be asking should be why don't the countries these plants are / were(?) located in enact laws protecting thier citizens. Let's be real here - the fact is NO countrry on the face of the earth has done more to help others (even our erstwhile enemies) than America has. I don't hide behind the flag either - as one of you suggested. Me and millions others stood and stand in front of the flag protecting everything it stands for. If you don't like it, just remember we are the ones that have given you the right to voice your opinion(as ridiculousw as it may be).
No we aren't perfect and yes we have made many many mistakes. If you can name just one country though that has done more good in the world in spite of our mistakes and problems - just one, than I'll shut up and aplogize. But remember this, when you name that mythical country it is subject to the same senseless bashing and nay saying that has been heaped on my countrty, the same vitriolic nonsense and lies that have been told about my countrty.

COME ON PEOPLE LETS GET SERIOUS HERE! The United States of America does not have much competition! Not many people have the guts to come to us! Think about it... We are always in other countries. If they come here they are done! As long as our military doesn't let whoever does invade get to the big communities. With these possible new gun laws we may not be able to protect ourselves if we are invaded! These are just some ideas though. When we have met our match... let me know.
