read an article in Phila. Inquirer about U.S. troops pursuing t-ban and a-q fighters across the border. 1 Pak. general says we never are allowed to do this, while the U.S. side says they can pursue, shell, and call in airstrikes in pakistani territory. i would hope our guys chase these cockroaches to hell if necessary. the Pak. gov., when they signed that treaty, gave the muj. free reign in the tribal areas. Mussharaf is afraid of being ousted, so now he is no help at all. if the p-stanis can't control the tribal areas, hey, to me that means its a free fire zone. the Pak's are corrupt, they hate us, and thier intel service i believe is helping our enemy. i wish our intel services would take a page or 2 from the Mossad's way of eliminating people who aid and abet our enemies. wherever they are. keep playing by "civilized" rules, and there won't be a western civilization to defend.

Divide pakistan to end Terrorism
QUOTE: ----------------------------------------------------------- Pakistan is the central headquarters of all terrorist activities under the authoritative command of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) an organ of Pakistan Army who have been sheltering Islamic terrorists organizations in the country through military as well as financial support. Their objective is simple that is to rule the region under an Islamic system of their own brand and elimination of non-Muslim communities and culture. They believe that unless they use power they cannot fulfil their ambitions and as such they have found terrorism as the most convenient method for accomplishment of their political agenda. In order to promote this terrorism through religious recognition and some historic significance with a view to make it attractive for the youngsters, they misinterpreted the concept of Jihad (holy war) and since the Muslim masses living in that region are totally illiterate and ignorant about their own religion, they were misguided by the help of hypocrite Islamic scholars who motivated and induced the foolish young Muslims to fight against non-Muslims. These fools did not even think that if it was the question of Muslim and Non-Muslim, then they should also fight China being totally out of the religious orbit. But, in that case, their brains do not work because it is but China itself which is assisting the Pakistan Army in such activities. Hence, the entire phenomenon is not to propagate the Muslim beliefs but to conquer the whole world through the assistance of China. Pakistan right now is the puppet of China and therefore it has become inevitable to address this issue on top priority. Chinese experts in connivance with the Pakistan Army have worked very intelligently to use the religion of Islam as a tool very useful to be used for extracting cheap fighting force in the name of holy war. On the other hand, the whole Pakistan Army getting salaries in millions of dollars per annum is not coming forward for this s-called Jihad simply for the reason that they know that it has nothing to do with any Jihad but to implement certain long-term political plans. It is, therefore, very essential to focus from a different angle without wasting any further time on Osama Bin Laden who is nobody but a well-trained puppet of Pakistan Army being used extensively for the purpose of masterminding the terrorist schemes and implementing them through the technical co-operation of Pakistan. Inter Services Intelligence Agency (ISI) is the real government in Pakistan. In the present situation it is the ISI, which is devising the self-made covert policies for the Government and also ensuring its implementation. It is part of the ISI’s well-established policy to organize violent pro-Taliban protest demonstrations against the United States in the provinces of Sindh, Balochistan and NWFP (North West Frontier Province) and keep the province of Punjab away from these demonstrations and strikes. After the terrorist attacks of 11th September 2001, the United States and the international community declared in clear words that we would now see that “who stands with us or against us”. The United States and international community assured the Pakistani rulers that if they extend co-operation to United States and international community in the war against terrorism, Pakistan would get the legitimate fruits of such co-operation. After these assurances of the International Community, the ISI conspired to activate the religious and so-called Jihadi groups on their payroll to use the provinces of Sindh, Balochistan and NWFP (North-West Frontier Province) provinces as their battleground against United States and International Community. This conspiracy to use the minority provinces was aimed to give the United States of America and the International Community a completely wrong impression that people living in these provinces are against USA while the real situation is totally different. Pakistan Army through its terrorism network called ISI has made an attempt to tarnish the image of small provinces of present Pakistan on one hand and on the other to deceive USA and the International Community. It is a bitter truth that the province of Punjab is the hub of all the fanatical and so-called Jihadi groups and the Headquarters of all the fanatical and extremists groups are situated in different cities of the province of Punjab like Lahore, Multan, Jhang, Faisalabad and Nankana. The ISI’s “game” to deceive the United States and international community would not last long and this act of deception would reach to its logical conclusion. When that happens the world would know who actually benefited by deceiving others and who lost, whereas who was deceived by whom and who was hoodwinked. ..... SYED JAMALUDDIN --------------------------------------------------- end Quote. |

...[related]... Political crisis grows after ouster of judge Items compiled from Tribune news services Published March 17, 2007 source link ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN -- Police battled protesters and stormed a television news channel Friday as the ouster of the nation's top judge pushed Pakistan toward a political crisis that could threaten President Pervez Musharraf's hold on power. The controversy has galvanized opposition to Musharraf, a key ally in the U.S. war on terror, as he prepares to seek another term this year. An Islamist opposition leader and a former president were among dozens detained as demonstrators accused the military of trampling slowly re-emerging democratic institutions. Musharraf had suspended Supreme Court Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry over unspecified allegations. |

This could spiral out of control quickly. The military (as I understand it) has always backed Musharraf, but if he keeps losing support with the public -- which has been tenuous at best --and the Islamists continue their public campaign he is in trouble. Naturally senior military are going to go which way the wind blows in an environment such as that. It's very dangerous and very worrisome. As someone noted -- an anti-American government with nukes.....

Hmmm... Its not a protected site. http://dividepakistan.blogspot.com/ He is bascally verbalizing in detail the earlir write up I posted. You know, the thing that people fear, the alternative without a Musharraf, is not valid. because thats exactly the bogeyman that they have been using. "If you don't do business with us" we'll hand over the country or they (the Islamists) will take over the country. That is simply not true and not possible.. The establishment in Pakistan (The people from on single state, Punjab) control 90% of the armed forces and they control all the resources of the country. They are using The NWP, The Balushusitan and the Sindh, basically the rest of the country without bringing attention to Punjab itself. Punjab is where the ISI resides...Its there that they do all the planning ...but use men from other states. Thats what this gentleman is saying. the p-stanis have shown they cannot control the border regions. iam talking about the regions where the T-ban is running things, where they use these lands as bases to attack coalition forces. I don't believe it was the p-stani's who launched that airstrike in W-stan. i believe it was a U.S. op. if they want to smash the t-bans bases, where they eat sleep and plan, we may need to use conventional forces to do it. iam talking about a BCT size unit. how hard would it be to chopper in, or jump near an objective, take care of business, then chopper out? if we do not destroy thier sanctuaries, this could drag out for years. LETS DO IT!!

2 things real quick. the former head of the ISI, Gen.Hamid Gul, lives on an army facility, with all the comforts. he's also been seen at TALIBAN meetings in mosques spouting anti-U.S. venom. the ISI key to bringing t-ban to power. they are still aiding and abetting. Mullah Omar is in Quetta, OBL'S son is hiding in Karachi, the most dangerous city on earth for westerners. as for the border areas, we should let the dogs loose...F 'em, kill them all, this conflict between religions is getting bigger, and wider. WEST WAKE UP!! They want us dead. the hell with wat Musshharaf says, we gotta do it ourselves, and p-stan has no control in the tribal areas.

i wonder when the camps the t-ban set up in W-STAN get bombed? as long as they are allowed to operate, ISAF forces are going to face a steady stream of fighters coming across the border. P-stan has no control over these areas. all the more reason to let loose and destroy the camps and those who live there.

Those stinking savages in W-STAN need to be brought to heel. Its the 21st Century for crying out loud and they need to be forced out of the dark ages and learn they don't live in a vacuum where they are untouchable. If that means carpet bombing them to ashes and starting all over, so be it.

there are elements in the Pak gov. who aid and arm rags crossing the border. i believe they are protecting HVT'S that we want dead, and are a big part of the problem. the former head of the ISI, Hamid Gul, has been seen at t-ban meetings many times. Mullah Omar is still alive coz p-stan protects him. until those camps of t-ban fighters are destroyed, we will be fighting continuosly.

ITS not time to hit Iran. its time to hit the tribal areas in p-stan where the t-ban have litrally taken over and Musharraf has let them. Pakistan is MORE dangerous than Iran. time to cross that border en-masse and let the dogs loose. letting them regroup and come to kill you is IDIOTIC. we crossed into Laos, Cambodia. why not here? the p-stan gov has no authority here. lets exert our own.

Pakistani Cleric Threatens Violence
By SADAQAT JAN Associated Press Writer Published May 20, 2007 source link ISLAMABAD, Pakistan -- The chief cleric of a radical Islamic mosque and seminary Sunday threatened holy war against the government if authorities use force to free two police officers being held captive by students. The officers were abducted Friday at a seminary attached to the Red Mosque, which has boldly challenged the authority of President Gen. Pervez Musharraf's government in recent months. Islamabad police chief Chaudhry Iftikhar Ahmed warned the students that the government was considering all options, including the use of force, to free the officers. "We would like that ... they release the policemen so that the government does not have to make use of force," Ahmed said. "We are not now negotiating anything with them. We are giving them time. Hopefully, some better sense prevails." Interior Ministry spokesman Javed Iqbal Cheema said later the government wants to peacefully resolve the standoff through negotiations. Using force was a "last option," he said. Abdul Rashid Ghazi, a cleric at the mosque, said the officers were detained because they were outside the seminary despite an agreement that police would not be deployed there. He said the officers would be freed only in exchange for nine students in government custody. Four officers were initially abducted and two were released Saturday. "Imam (head) of the mosque Maulana Abdul Aziz has declared that if the government uses force we will wage jihad," Ghazi said. "We will not retreat. We will sacrifice our lives," Aziz said over mosque loudspeakers amid chants by his supporters. Pakistan's Dawn newspaper reported that the release of the two officers Saturday was in return for the freedom of four students who had been arrested for burning a shop selling music and movies in a village near Islamabad. Ahmed denied the report, saying an anti-terrorism court had ordered the students be freed on bail and their release was unrelated to the kidnappings. Aziz said 200 students from another seminary affiliated with the mosque have been arrested. Cheema said several people were "intercepted" to stop them from going to the mosque but were expected to be freed later. Cheema did not say how many people were detained. The Red Mosque's hardline clerics -- long alleged to have ties with militants, including the Taliban militia -- have started a Taliban-style anti-vice campaign in defiance of state authority in the relatively liberal Pakistani capital. They have warned nearby video and music shop owners to close their businesses and abducted a woman and her relatives for allegedly running a brothel, forcing her to make a public confession. The clerics last month demanded Tourism Minister Nilofar Bakhtiar be fired for hugging a foreign man, saying the official committed a "great sin." They made their demand after photos appeared in the Pakistani media showing her being helped by a male instructor during a charity parachute jump in France to help victims of the devastating 2005 earthquake in Pakistan. Bakhtiar rejected the Taliban-style edict, or fatwa, and said her family and friends were concerned for her safety. |
