many times i sit and wonder how the war of the future will be. what will we all live to see, or will we even get to review the beginning and end. or in a blink of an eye- will the beginning be the end. i had my daughter delilah was born barely last year, and there is not a day that passes i am thankfull she is here on earth with me! But that thought of war in our future to come still eks from my thoughts.

However the future is going to be America and its Allies better be more technologically advanced than the enemy. The number of brave and courageous Americans is dropping while the number of our enemies increases.

technology is not the single answer in any war. Its a combination of your technology and your doctrine.
Good top of the line technology and poor doctrine will not get you anywhere.

I'm not disagreeing, but this isn't always true. Many wars have been won with the victorious side having nothing more than more advanced weapons. An example would be the gatling gun and all the F'd up people who used it against the so called "savages" who were only defending their land.

True but bad doctrine on the "savages" side and some form of doctrine of use of the weapon on the F'd people's side.

32 Minutes. It took 32 minutes to put mankind from the 21st Century back into the 19th Century. At the end of the 20th Century, what was called the Iron Curtain fell and the World's largest antagonist at the time, fell under it's own weight of internal abuse. Then as in all vacuums, another took it's place, this in the form of an asymetric enemy whom was supported quietly and covertly by several governments within the Middle East. The largest successful attack came on September 11th, 2001 when over 3000 United States and other citizens were murdered during mass suicide attacks. The following decade saw the rise of the Iranian Empire, the PRC as the largest military power after the Democratic Presidency of the U.S. from 2009 - 2016 reduced U.S. military levels to the lowest ever. A spark in the form of global radical islamic terrorism set off a chain of events in 2018. Following a detonation of a nuclear weapon in a eastern U.S. city, a PRC province, and in Moscow itself. Fingers pointed briefly as Nations maneuvered for political and military strategic positions. Missles began flying firstly across the Middle East, then across the Globe in retalitory strikes. Space based weapons were then deployed and used as Nations sought to blind each other and render satelite guidance systems impotent, those missles and satelites began their destruction and within 32 minutes, what remained of mankind never knew what happened. Communication and electrical grids Worldwide were 90% destroyed. Even Third World nations were affected by the clasing of giants and their antagonist. Radioactive fall out plagued mankind and all living things for another five years.

Thinking a little further into the future I can't help but think it's only a matter of time before we have one of these.
