Israel?

I don't think so. They attacked a U.S. Navy ship and deliberately murdered 34 sailors and wounded > 170. We old timeers REMEMBER THE LIBERTY. Israel supports Israel, everybody else can go to hell - oh, we'll take your $3B in foreign aid though.

U.K.?

Gee, one year after Britain launched a war 8,000 from home, they criticised the USA for invading Grenada. Hmmmm?

Aussies?

Yeah, I'll buy the Aussies. I'll buy 'em a beer. smile (Beware of Kiwis posing as Aussies though - Kiwi's hate USN nuclear police)

Canada?

They just pulled out of Afghanistan, didn't they? They're awfully liberal these days. Don't try to bring a handgun accross the border, even if enroute to Alaska - very bad juju. frown

Japan?

Money can buy happiness. But don't they want us off of Okinawa in the worst way?

S. Korea?

I might believe that. ROKs are tough little SOBs.

Turkey?

An assassination here, an assassination there probably doesn't make them bad people, does it? They have been a great moderating influence in the Muslim world though but.... eek

Israel...i'll say this, they get us the information we need, when we need it with regards to help in uncovering terrorist plots from their prisoners, mainly because they don't have to follow any whimpy liberal interrogation laws in order to get it...but i understand your point (liberty sinking, $3B aid, etc) so i'll downgrade them to 95% on my list.

U.K....wow, you're really reaching on that one! how about their solidarity with us on Iraq and on the ground in Afghanistan? let's try and focus on more recent events...they stay at 100%

Aussies... smile 100%

Canada...well, we did accidently bomb the poor S.O.B.s...the stay at 95%

Japan...hey, it's not like $$$ doesn't drive our own foreign policy...only a very vocal 10% of Okinawans want us off the island...not a majority...sorry, they stay at 95%

S. Korea...agree with you 100%...as a matter of fact, they get to take Israel's spot in the group of 100%r's

Turkey...i don't know about you, but i'd rather have the current totalitarian regime in power and on our side than a bunch of islamic facist clerics who support terrorist in the name of allah and only see us as the great satan...they stay at 95%

Please feel free to add anybody else to my list and don't forget to include their %.

TAIWAN should rank in the 100% category; I just
wish I could be certain the reverse is true.

Of course, they are totaly dependent on us to hold
off the ChiComs, but they are a democracy, and a
strong trading partner.

It truly burns my butt, though, that the leftists
are continually trying to sell them out to the
Communists. mad mad

Good point shep...I totally forgot about them!

They only thing that one could argue about them being 100% is that they are not fully recognized by the international community and can't throw their weight around from a political/economic stand point...and they would never deploy their military assets outside of Taiwan in order to support us in other conflicts around the world. With this in mind we'll make up a new level of ally for them: 99% wink

They do what they can, considering how much of the
world is grovelling and licking the PRC's (two
lies out of three) shoes. Taiwan is an economic
power in its own right.

Iraq/Palestinians/many Arabs = -100 % (doh !)
Iran's mullahs = - 100 %
Iran's people = friendly
Libya = - 100 %
Egyptians = friendly
Islamic people in many countries = - 60 %
Chinese communists = - 60 %
Chinese peasants = friendly
Russian communists = - 50 %
Russian politicians = - 30 %
Russian citizens = friendly
Indian gov. = friendly,
Average E. Indian = unfriendly (Westerners kill too many animals and are arrogant stuck-up racists )

Question: Why do most communist countries dislike the USA ?

Answer : Its a habit from the cold war .

Question : Is the cold war starting up again ?
Answer : Without a doubt .

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A7800-2002Jul26.html

Question : Is communism on the upsurge in Russia ?
Answer : They are becoming more capitalistic and less fascist . But torture and terror-tactics are still widespread - especially in Chechnya.

Question : Why did they sell reactors to Iran ?
Answer : The West has sold reactors to China and India and other rivals of Russia . So I guess they are just getting even !

Question : Should we try to conquer Iran ?
Answer : Nah, as soon as we take out Iraq, the Iranians will mellow-up and probably become a democracy . Without the Iraq menace, the mullahs will no longer have an excuse to be so repressive - so within 10 years they will probably be booted back into their troll-caves and Iran will then become a democracy .

Question : Should we try to conquer Russia ?
Answer : Personally, I think the answer is :
dont conquer anyone - its better to accept their refugees and maybe one day those refugees can be used to build an army to grab a bit of Russian land and set up their own state . Same with China. When enough people have fled China, then it is time to attack and grab some Chinese land for these people to live on. After all, they came from China and we dont have room for them, so it only makes sense to send them back - course they might find an uzzi to be useful in their new homeland ! Maybe take back Hong Kong - but this time dont lease it - just grab it .

Oops ! I forgot about Turkey :

The Turks are a very important factor in the world today . They are half-way between being Western and Islamic . They have a pseudo-democracy with a secular non-islamic orientation.
Some call Turkey a totalitarian state - I am not sure what to think of them . They are very inclined to kill Kurds. They have a poor human-rights record - their jails are not open to inspection - with allies like the Turks, who needs enemies ?

...the Spey engines and the JH-7 represent 1960s technology.

I don't think that qualifies as much of a threat. If anything, we should be patting the UK on the back for taking advantage of the Chicoms. wink

Israel, however, is continuing to attempt to sell the Chicoms advanced technology (radars, EW systems, missiles, etc) just to make a buck. The Israelis need to wake up and understand that not only could this technology be used against the U.S., but against themselves as well...after the Chicoms pass it along to Iraq, Iran and other terrorist states in the middle east. roll eyes

No..the policy is against Nuclear powered and armed vessels of any national.

If NZ is such a poor friend or ally......Why are NZers serving a long side USers?.....On land..on the sea and in the air?

USA - 100%

Everyone else is 99% or less. We're the only ones that we can depend on, 100% of the time.
