It might not be WWIII quite yet but they all but said attack on Iran is imminent. If we get bogged down in Iran, Afgan, Iraq we will be too spread out and weak to defend ourselves should other countries want to take advantage.

Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Nicholas Burns, the most ardent proponent of a diplomatic resolution to the problem of Iran's nuclear ambitions, has had his chance on the Iranian account and come up empty.
Political and military officers, as well as weapons of mass destruction specialists at the State Department, are now advising Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice that the diplomatic approach favored by Burns has failed and the administration must actively prepare for military intervention of some kind.
If/when it comes down to another world war (or any war) we wouldn't need a draft if people weren't such cowards. I'm not saying people shouldn't value there lives, but where's the pride and nationalism we once had? Have people forgotten what made this country the great nation that it is?
ALL The next year may well be the remembered year as the Pivital Year of Decision. If the next admin is an appeasement oriented admin, then, I expect, further down the tubes Global diplomacy. Worst case, is that the isolationists have us all come home, hunker down, dont buy Globally, reduce our oil and energy consumption by living like our ancestors, and just generally wimp out. If that occurs, the rest of the world, IE United Europe, and their Mid East cohorts will take up the slack. Our old friend Russia will be right there to take advantage, as well as will China. If the USA follows this path, WW3 will have been lost and the next step will be defending our shores with energy stocks and bonds. end
