I've seen a few videos on EODs, but I have some questions. First what is your training like and how long is it. And, if your going to be an EOD is it mandatory that you basically go up to the bomb and disarm it in the protective suit(not that I would be too afraid to) or can you do something such as security to the disarmer or something else I don't know about? Thanks in advance guys.

Use the find feature. There are numerous posts/threads about EOD and NSW on this site.

A manual approach is not the first option. We don't discuss tactics. You should be scared. No one wants to appproach an armed IED.

Very true sir to say you wouldn't be afraid to approach an armed IED means your either a liar or crazy.

I didn't say I wasn't scared, just not too scared.

Not every rating has its own website.

Oh, do you know what ratings have a website off the top of your head? I know the SEABEEs do but it doesn't work.
