Hi,

I'm very excited to be going to DLI soon (shipping August 18th), but I have one quick question for those with some experience. I'm single and will likely be living on the barracks, will I be able to eventually bring my furniture (couch, dresser, computer, etc.) to DLI?

laptop yes. everything else is provided in your barracks room.

You'll get all your standard government issue from the "BEQ line"

You're technically allowed to have your own furniture, but the barracks rooms are furnished, so there's no room for it. My room had 2 beds, 2 big wall lockers, 2 chairs, 2 desks, a small fridge, 2 tall lamps, and maybe 4 little dressers.

You're allowed to have pretty much anything, just no weapons or pets or other things you obviously wouldn't be allowed to have. Enjoy DLI and make sure you study and realize how great of an opportunity it is. A lot of people slack off and have to get put into different jobs. Don't be one of them.
