I started off an E1 and 3 years later I'm an E5. During these joyful 3 years I have seen to many motivated undesignated SN get discouraged with their daily job of cleaning and preserving their workplace in hopes of staying out of troble and loosing their A school. That's all.

I got an 81 on the ASVAB but I'm not enlisted yet. So my rate would be nonexistent, right? lol, as would my rating? just for kicks, let's say my rating was HM and my rate was oh... E1... so it'd be (hmm which one goes first...)

You'll more than likely come in an E1 and with an ASVAB score of 81 you should be able to be a HM if that's what you want. You'll pick your job (rate) while at MEPS, but before you do that your recruiter can give you a list of jobs that you qualify for. Good luck though the adventure booter. r/GM2

Interesting observation.

When I went to MEPs, I had only found out the night before that I was going, so I had no way of preparing for the ASVAB. However, I got a 63 and was able to do the career I wanted: CS!!

I scored a 69 back in 1988, and came in as a SKSA. I am now a SKC(SW).

36, SN now, but might change to AN, or maybe HM, these are the other things I qualified for, I got time.

99 - MM non-nuke, hopefully cross-rating in the next year.

86 - MM3 Nuke, finishing up school in NY, dont know where im going yet.

68 AD

80, BM

i got a 77 on the asvab. and i'm not signed on yet so no rate or rating.
