My degree should get me E-3 status.

I have a damn nuerology consultation due to no med docs on a head injury from 20 years ago. Twelve hours at MEPS and no job = tired and mad, but hey my day is near. GL to all new recruits.

Failed color vision tests, going to try for CTR.

I don't actually have a rate yet because I'm waiting on a waiver for my Lasik, but I scored a 97 on the test. Woo-Hoo!! The classifier I was working with told me to research the AECF rate. Oh, I'll go in as an E-3 for my college credits. Hopefully I'll actually finish my Associates before I ship out.

I always wondered why someone started a thread to include your ASVAB score. Who cares?

14 pages of people seem to enjoy the post. I guess your score was as weak as your attitude.

I scored a 99, so I have a feeling you didn't do better than me. These kinds of posts just seem to be places for people to try and show off their scores. I just thought that it might make some others feel bad, when in actuality, I don't put a lot of weight on ASVAB scores. Melvin, be careful with your tone. You are in no position to make that kind of comment. Good luck with your Navy career.

I think I got a 98 or 99... I just remember them pushing the Nuke program at me telling me all about how awesome it was... The only reason I joined the Nav was to be a diver so I joined as a CT which then turned to an ET...

My point is don't let the recruiters try and tell you what you 'should' do based on your score, do what you want to do.

I'm in a perfect position to make the comments I made about you. You came here acting like a jerk and I merely called you on it. People like you that post on a forum thread only to bash the thread are complete idiots. If you don't like the thread then don't add to it. Grats on the 99, but it means nothing to me if you are going to be a jerk.
