My husband recently found out about the Nuclear Propulsion program and would love to become an instructor. He is currently working on his Mechanical Engineering degree and is making all A's...even in his physics and calculus classes. About 7 years ago he completed an associate degree...but his grades definitely weren't all A's.

What GPA will be looked at-the one where he is completing his bachelor's degree or a combined GPA?

Thanks!

They would be combined for the total GPA for that bachelors.

Not necessarily

It's whatever the GPA is on that degree, the AA doesnt necessarily apply to the ME at all.

They will ask for all transcipts, so me may have some explaining to do, but the GPA that matters is one for the plan of study.

Have him talk to a nuke Officer recruiter.

Edit: why didnt you put all the info in one post in one location?

If I read the OP's post correctly I think she is asking about her hubby becoming a civilian instructor at Power School. Or am I mistaken?

An Officer instructor position, teaching both officers and enlisteds in Charleston. NUPOC offers a Direct input Officer position for teachers and engineers.
