0720-0810.....Barracks.....Wear, Care, and Stow
0810-0830.....Transit
0830-1100.....3510.........Navy History I
1100-1120.....Transit
1120-1210.....Galley.......Noon Meal
1210-1230.....Transit
1230-1500.....3510.........Navy History I
1500-1520.....Transit
1520-1700.....Barracks.....RDC Time
1700-1800.....Galley.......Evening Meal

Johnny_B, I'm guessing, since the new barracks are now all self-contained with Galleys, classrooms, and berthing areas all under one roof, that the "transit" times are now greatly reduced.

From all the articles I read, saving a lot of time by not having to march so much was one reason for the redesign of the barracks.

Wow, things have come a long way since the spring of 1970...I hope those wooden barracks in Camp Barry for Processing are long gone! Wink

Wake up
Stay awake, fight boredom, ***** about stuff
Go to sleep

Every once in a while you stand watch or go to class or something.

Boot camp is pretty boring, actually. It's a lot like being at sea that way.

Also, there is no reason for a recruit to worry about their daily schedule. You'll be told when and where to go...don't worry about it. Just freaking GO to boot camp. The only preparation necessary is not being a fatass.

I went thru boot camp back in 2000 and I don't remember much about it except that I was always tired and always hungry.
