the program I want has 60 month obligation

promotion to officer possible after 2 or 3 years of active duty ?
OR have to finish to 60 month obligation

if I can be officer after 3 yrs(performance)
will it add any aditional obligation for officer role (how long ?)

getting ahead of yourself. IF you are accepted to OCS, your current contract is voided and you sign a new one. DH served only 4 years of his 6 year initial contract before reporting to OCS.

that new contract will be a minimum of 4 years as an Officer..longer depending on Community.

It also took DH 2 tries before he was accepted..and he was a citizen going in.

Yes and it depends on designator

Officer communities have age caps. So depending on what you want to do it may or may not be an option.
