I'm giddy about joing the US Navy, but I have HPV. I was told that you could get a waiver, what are the chances that I will actually get it and not a DQ? (if there is post about this already I'm sorry, I saw a lot of them, but none that actually answered the question)Thank you!

Questions such as this can't be answered yes or no because every medical case is different.
I'me not familiar with HPV or know what it stands for so I can't give you any information on if people get waivers for it or not.

USS Liberty, Never Forget.

I believe in Murrays Law, he thought Murphy was an optimist.

Gerry is exactly right. There are many factors that come into play. For most people that get HPV it goes away on its own. For others, it can lead to cervical cancer. There are many things that are still unknown about it.
There may be others with experience in recruiting that can answer whether it requires a waiver.

Good luck to you. I hope everything works out for you.
