I'm 19, female, junior in college and majoring in civil engineering. My G.P.A is a 2.95. I'm also working as a civil servant engineering aid under Test and Evaluation for F-18.
I want to go to OCS and I have no idea where I should be at as far as PFT and/or any academic tests go. I've looked at all different kinds of websites that the navy puts out but I feel like I'm getting mixed information. I know I should probably just go to a recruiting office, but I thought I would try here first. I guess I just want to know, as a girl who doesn't have a perfect GPA, how hard is it to get in? |

ehh.. if you are looking at CEC..maybe. if you are looking at SWO or something else.. less likely.
Civil Engineering Corps is always looking for bodies and they might be okay with a sub 3.0 GPA. There can be no freedom without sacrifice |

Talk with an officer recruiter, not the guys in the mall. With a 2.95 you had better have a lot of other stellar things on your resume. CEC will probably not accept you with that low of a GPA, but talk with officer recruiter. They may consider you if you can bring your GPA up before graduating.
