I had a tuberculosis vaccine done when I was a kid back in Romania, and when they do skin tests on me, the result comes out as positive, because of the vaccine. Does anyone know if this might cause me a problem at bootcamp?

I don't think it should cause problems, but just make sure this is noted at MEPS and in your records. You would probably have to have blood drawn and a quantiferon test run which is a better indicator if you have TB or not.

We get tested annually for TB on the fire dept and have seen a few false positives, myself included. You just had blood drawn and tested which would be a better indicator than the skin test.

People who test positive on the skin test have to have a cehst x--ray done.
Just let your recruiter know this ahead of time so they can make proper arrangments.
