I have all four of my wisdom teeth. They all fit fine (a little room to spare actually, guess I'm a lucky one).
I read the NAVY pulls your wisdom teeth. However, since mine do not cause any sort of problem will they still pull them? I don't want them pulled nor are they any threat to my mouth (there is no sign of them moving and becoming a problem, I've seen a dentist). On an additional note I'm the only person I've ever met whose wisdom teeth have came in perfect, hooray lol. |

No, if they are perfect the Navy will not pull them. (It costs taxpayer money to do that.)
If they are "almost" perfect they are more likely to pull them if you are a submariner. There is no medical doctor on board. The "Doc" is one the best of the best of hospital corpsmen. I'm sure there are other billets where they decide that due to operational constraints and isolation that the teeth need to go. . .but if they are evaluated as perfect they won't. The concern is related to submarines having to change their packed schedules just to off-load a guy with preventable teeth issues via helicoptor or foreign port. . .which costs money. |
