Ive been thinking of switching to navy corpsman but i would like to know how well i would fair with no prior medical training?

The beauty about the Navy is that one doesn't need any prior knowledge for any rating...the Navy will teach you.

Give us a little background. Are you in DEP for another rate?

Im currently in DEP for MA. I would like to switch to the HM but im not sure how long that process would take/if it can happen since the the branch is rather fully recruited.

My scores are well above the qualifications i was just a little worried if prior experience is needed.

Can't tell if you are male or female as your profile doesn't exist anymore. If you are a female then you will probably have an extremely difficult time switching over to HM. It is amazingly overmanned for females.
