The US just took the DPRK off the terrorist-sponsor watch list, but didn't the DPRK just test missiles as recently as a week ago, IIRC? Doesn't anyone else here see anything wrong with this picture?
quote:
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The United States on Saturday removed North Korea from its list of states that sponsor terrorism, State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said...
...The official said verification of North Korea's statements about its nuclear program will start right away, and the North Koreans will immediately reverse actions they have taken in recent weeks to restart their reactor and reprocessing facilities that produce plutonium for nuclear weapons...
What does testing missiles have to do with terrorism? Relations have improved between our 2 countries in the last several months. Thats why they are being removed from the list.
Their chemical weapons experiments are beyond anything being done in the middle east or Iran. They went beyond any acts of terrorism that Iran did during the 80's and are surpassed in genocide only by Sudan.
Youre kidding right? Are you crazy? We're at war with Islamic terror. North Korea doesn't sponsor Islamic terror. So they should not be on the terror sponsor list. Get it? Read slowly next time.
As much as you may want them to, the Government has never actually declared war on "Islamic Terrorism" and that is why North Korea, with its history of terrorism dwarfing Iran, was originally on the list.
Aside from him having little to do with it, he is certainly not taking the fight seriously. He lets Marines rot in jail when Time magazine accuses them.
