North Korean military rockettes. Big Grin

*link edited by gypsysnipe*

How can it be that North Korea is in a permanent state of "heating up?" Mabe the topic should be "Korea" and leave it at that.

I just returned from South Korea and they like to play games. If they attacked South Korea we would kick their butts. Their people are starving and dying of all sorts of diseases. Only the military is being being fed. I was in Korea as well when they shot the war head over Japan. The people in the North are isolated and have no clue of what is going on outside of the North all due to the Chonger. He knows we'd kick his butt. Why do you think we have bases in South Korea. We know what they are doing at all times. The people of America read what is in the newspaper and the newspaper is good about getting people worked up.

Enjoy looking at them now, because they are the ones who will be conducting your humiliation exercises if you ever get captured by an NK.

lets be realistic, being a submarine vet. I say lets show the n koreans what stealth really means. I think anyone who reads this knows what I mean. these guys are insane. REALLY!!! Ive been to S. Korea a # of times and they seem to have a total lack of any form of grasp on reality. Send them a message like a little call on the dictator in the wee hours of the morning. one on one. Maybe then his fruitcake butt will get the message.

I may be out of line here, but wouldn't a "fruitcake" dictator actually appreciate getting a visit in the "wee hours"... Angel/Devil

War in Korea would be a tough undertaking. Both sides are dug in deep. Most of the year, the flat ground won't support armor. Much tougher than the first time around.

We maintain posts in the ROK as a deterrent to PRK aggression and for intelligence gathering. These posts are sufficient to maintain the status quo, but we would need alot of light infantry to make a move to the north.

The only way to beat the North, be it peacefully or through combat is to maintain good terms with China. With out their help it is useless. China does not want our bases and out posts near their borders. We get to close and they team up with the enemy.

As to the comments of 17011884, you need more education. The actual plight of the people is no different than when East Germany existed. They are isolated but not as isolated as you seem to think. They have a resistence fron that outside governments are working with. The key is to change or dispose of the party in the position of leadership. Finding the effective chink in his armor will do wonders. Not making war with the people.

As to using "Nukes" yeah that would solve a lot. We're still paying economically for the last big bang. Grow up and use the brain. There is not one true soldier that believes "nukes " are the answer to anything. Maybe you should pay more attention to your military training.

I would say not owing them money and selling them our industry would be the key to containing China, since they will be our trading friend right until the day that they launch an attack on us....just like Hitler and his Soviet oil.
