all you can do is ask the vendors/companies/stores. If they do, great, if not, your choice to take your business elsewhere.
NONE of us.. Active, Retired, Vet, or Family Member are entitled to discounts. If someone decides to be nice and offer one terrific, but none of us deserve one.
Hi - if you check online for http://www.vacanteen.va.gov -- they have a great list of vendors who offer good discounts to VA entitled persons. Happy shopping! GW
Usually if they offer a discount all you need to do is show a current military ID card weather it be active, retired, family member or other. You may be very surprised by just asking who will say yes the worst they can do is say no.
I always ask when I go into a new store/place of service if they accept military discounts. You never know if you don't ask. I have gotten many discounts this way!
If you are down in the Ft Lauderdale area on vacation, and decide to go to Butterfly World, show your ID and get a 25% discount. They don't advertise it but if you ask it is available. Valid for retirees and Active Duty. I didn't ask about Reserves but I would sure give it a try.
We have a vacation home in Daytona Beach and we offer great discounts for veterans or military. Check out our website. It's a great place to bring family and friends.
