Give 10% off all the time in FL but not in all stores.

In Erie, PA, Lowes & Home Depot used to give 10% off all the time, but have stopped doing it. They say that there is a coupon available to military people "in one of your magazines, or on-line". Does anyone know where exactly?? Thanks.

for my understanding the manager is the one that have the coupon for military and they have to scanned it in order to give you the discount.At least the manager in one of the stores in Philly told me that.

In West Virginia the Lowes discontinued the discounts in December. The current discounts occur only when certain managers/employees are present.

The more we purchased from them the more difficult it was to get the discount.

Home Depot has never given discounts in this state.

They may be referring to the "Military Spouse" magazine where Home Depot always has ads and information about being a military friendly employer for retirees and spouses.
Not to bash on them directly but I have learned not to trust those promises after being turned down jobs from companies who make those claims, being told it was because I am a military spouse (but that's all for another thread!)

For the 8 1/2 years that I worked at Lowes (and its been almost 3 1/2 years since then) the 10% off was at the Store Managers choice.

The only discount that I have recieved from Lowes is on Veterans Day, where they give a 10% discount, and that is great. Thanks Lowes!!
