Despite the fact that the Discount Center list "Eligibility: Active Duty, Veteran, Retiree, Reserve, National Guard, Government Employee, Military Families, Military.com Members" as eligible for the 14.9% discount Tmobile will only honor that for ACTIVE DUTY members. The code 6423MYFAVES did work for reduced price of the headset, etc though
I am a current T-Mobile customer. I called and advised that I work for Homeland Security and the Coast Guard. They never asked if I was active duty (which I am not). I gave my employee ID number and my work email address and the discount was applied while I was on the phone. The representative advised me that the discount was 18%.
Yeah I don't have TMobile but I've never heard of a discount "code" for military discounts - because even if you have the code, there's no way for them to prove you're military. I've always just heard of giving them your .mil email address, and it may require an email, phone call, or visit into a store instead of trying to do it online.
I just got the discount! Here is what you have to do: Call 877-453-8824 (the migration dept) Ask for the Military.com members discount. It is listed under the name MONSTER WORLDWIDE. The corporate node is 6547494 You will need to tell them you are a Military.com member and they will ask you for your Military.com login name. That's it!!!!!! Enjoy 15% off every monthly bill
Call 877-453-8824 and ask for the Military.com members discount. First they won't find it but tell them it's under the name MONSTER WORLDWIDE. Tell them you are a Military.com member and when they ask you for a member ID you give them your Military.com login ID. They then ask for an email that military.com gives you and you just give them your regular email. He then told me that my contract would renew for 2 years but I told him I'm on a month by month and don't have a contract and he said OK. They did change my monthly cut off date from the 29th to the 23rd for some reason. We'll see next month when the bill comes along if they give me the discount or not.
Did not work for me. I was told the discount would not apply to my plan, as it was originally with SUNCOM although I have been with T-Mobile now for over 2 years. So it does not apply across the board for military retirees or military.com members.
well I already had 10% discount so there was no point in changing.
I would really like to find that 15% because without it, I'll probably just have to drop t-mobile. It may be pscyhological only but my bill after tax is breaking $100 per month, and I am forever searching on how to get it below that amount....lol, oh well, maybe I'll have to go to Virgin Mobile prepaid.
It's a whole bunch cheaper, even for unlimited web/blackberry service.
Home Land Security is 15%. Coast Guard is 18%. You must specify USCGa to get 18%. They wanted a work phone number for verification. I gave my flotilla commander's number. Your contract resets to a new 2 year agreement. If you do this withing 90 days of setting up your T Mobile account they may waive the account activation fees
