I am a seller on ebay, and just received an email from a soldier overseas who can't get the stuff he wants to buy on ebay because he can't get a verified paypal address overseas.
Apparently nobody is willing to ship to the fpo boxes, and it occurs to me that lots of other military service men and women overseas probably have the same problem.
I'd like to help, so if there's anybody you know out there who wants to get something on ebay, but can't get it because of this problem, send me an email to and I'll try to find it through one of my suppliers and get it to them, and I'll sell it to them at my cost as a military discount. I have to warn you though, I'm a small seller so my cost is oftentimes higher than what other sellers can sell on ebay for, but I'll do the best I can. Also, I can get better prices on bulk, so if they can get together and buy several items at once I'll be able to get them better prices.
Thanks,
Randy

Actually you can have a FPO or APO address and have Paypal. I have one and we are overseas, it wasnt a problem doing it either.

I think the problem some people are encountering is having a confirmed Paypal address. You can have a paypal acct with your address but it does not necessarily have to be confirmed. Problem is a lot of merchants and ebay sellers will now only accept payment from accts with confirmed addresses because paypal will not back up transaction disputes if the buyer does not have a confirmed address. Some ebay sellers still accept unconfirmed addresses but many will not these days. I don't think it is possible to have an APO/FPO address confirmed because I believe it has to be physical.
