And just how many times have we all heard/read that statement?

But on the outside chance your statement is true......
Are we to assume that you have never heard of the term, "secondhand smoke"?

There have been numerous scientific tests to try and get someone to test positive for THC through secondhand smoke alone, and none have ever worked.

Our Legal Officer at the Coast Guard Recruit Training Center put it this way - second hand smoke does not exist.

She said there was no way second hand smoke could cause a positive urinalysis for Marijuana of over 50 nanograms.

And the recruits who tried to use that excuse (at least, the ones who tried to argue about it) still ended up with a general discharge and an RE-4 reenlistment code.

hate to tell you, but the one in the recruiters office is not as accurate as the one at MEPS.

"hot boxing: Gathering into a confined area and smoking marijuana so that the impact and longevity of the smoke increases, resulting in a greater high."

though I had a vague idea of what it was, I had to go look that up.

Just the fact that you thought you could sit in a car for hours with your buds all smoking is stupid in and of itself. WTH would you have friends that would risk your potential career for you around? What if a cop had walked up and busted you all for posession? Great group of friends you got there.

Oh, and like the others, I doubt you've never smoked weed.

There's nothing you can do. You've just screwed yourself.

Maybe it was the brownies you were munching while everyone else was hot boxing.

You can try to get help from a congressman but the chance that it is going to do any good is pretty slim. I imagine the congressman's aide (the person who reads everything first and then makes recommendations to the congressman) will look at your description and have about the same response as everyone on here.

If your uncle is truely a CMC then he would understand that congressmen can only get involved when the military screws up.

The military followed their regs.

+1

The Congressman will only send you a letter saying you were tested within regulations and the recruiters followed rules regarding testing positive for that junk.

We could do without the name calling.

No one on this board can really help you. All you can do is challenge the urinalysis.

And it sounds like you just answered your own question right there.
