I want to join the military and serve my country but im not sure what branch to join. The Army is the only branch i really know. Only beacause my Grandpa was in the Army and i hear stories from him all the time. So Im considering Navy of Air force and maybe Army. How do I know what branch is right for me?

Broad question. Kindly, use the find button to do some research here and elsewhere, and then you can ask more focused questions. Do some reasearch what the different branches have to offer.

I've spoken with recruiters from the Aif Force and Army. Tomorrow im meeting with a recruiter from the Navy. The Air Force is Guarenteeing me a chance to continue my education through the Air Force community college. Finishing my education is important to me. The Army "says" i can continue my education in my off duty hours. I didnt like the sound of that to much..

Getting your education in the military is practically the same across all branches. You have to do it in your free time and maintain the discipline to keep up. The Community College of the AF is great, but all services have great opportunities to pursue your education. Just because the Army does not have a CC, does not mean anything. Besides, I would rather my degree come from a school that most people recognize when they hear it.

I never thought about it that way.
Id rather get my degree the same way also.
I plan on taking ROTC for an officers commission when i get to college. It just seems like the every recruiter is telling you the same thing. All i want to do is make a difference. Serve along side my brothers and sisters in arms and protect my country. I want to travel and see the world. I want to be working with the best of the best.

This is really the bottom line for your education. Most get their degrees while in the Reserves, NG or they plan a break in service to get one.

Serving in the Armed Forces for most is a blip on the radar screen. A decent degree from a recognized University lasts a lifetime and pays dividends just as long.

That's not a bad route at all! I have quite a few friends who went that route.

One bit of advice. Don't discount serving in the Reserves while going to school and doing ROTC. They extra money can really help out and you can get some valuable experience.

Thank you. My original plan was to join the reserves at 17. And get the chance of having the experience of both the enlisted side and Officer side. But the thing is, I don't want being in the reserves to lesson my chances of getting the scholorship.
