I will be graduating college soon with a degree in environmental science and want to apply for the Air Force. I want to apply for OTS but will settle for enlisted if i don't get accepted.
Ive seen many discussions regarding this but I havn't really found a clear answer for my case. I am 24 years old now. When I was 16 I was committed to hospitalization for attempted suicide (without a court order) and was temporarily prescribed anti-depressants (for a few months)for depression.
That was over 7 years ago when I was a minor. Since then I have been an independent adult and am 3 months from graduating college with a solid GPA and clean record. Do I face automatic disqualification for the mistake I made back then?
Your input is appreciated.

Yes, permanent DQ. History of suicide attempt does not get waived.
