Earlier this month I received a discharge due to EPTS for my left shoulder from Ft. Benning where I was at OSUT for 11B.
About 7 years ago I broke my shoulder, it healed and I had absolutely no problems with it, went through MEPS they did not even need a waiver for it. When I was at basic training I just twisted it wrong, nothing to do with the previous injury, and it hurt pretty bad so I went to sick call to get some pain meds.
While there the doctor would not listen and told me that I had a previous injury he was going to EPTS me. I tried to get an RTD but medical would not change it. On my DD214 it even says "anticipate recovery to baseline condition".
I got a re-enlistment code of 3 which they told me meant I could come back, all I would need it a waiver for the shoulder to show that it truly is not a problem, which it isnt.
How long do I have to wait before I can re-enlist? etc what do I need to do?
Thanks in advance
