My husband is a surveyor In tn. One day while he was out about 4 or 5 yrs ago he had found this coin. Well Since he's always bringing things home i didn"t think anything of it & Threw it in my jewery box. Any how, Two days ago i watched a program on history channel about the interprise. They mentioned the The ship which is on this coin! So i started searching to try & Maybe find out whom lost this Coin, or Medal. I was hoping you could help me! It's Round, Gold, & has this on it: DEDICATION
13 Oct,1975 USS Yorktown CV 10 The pic shows a chopper over the ship, Then has 1943-1970. On the otherside it has: PATRIOTS POINT Has pic of two smaller boats wth men looking upon the big ship, At bottom it has Charleston, SC I don't know if it even would mean much to anyone. But i know, If that was givin to one of my family members i'd like to hv it! So i'm on a quest to try & find the rightful owner or Family member that might like to hv this bk! I didn't actually know who to write about this, So i chose you! lol Please help me if possible or Advise me on what i can do? Thank you for your time, Debra = debwah69@hotmail.com |

Debra, I can't help you re. the coin. For your security. DO NOT publish your personal e-mail addr. Or anyhing that will allow anyone to contact you, except by PM. We have no control of who is on here, it could be some wack job. They can contact you trough your Private Mail, here on the board. Keep smiling, everyone will wonder what you've been up to! |
