My laptop shows a connection, but when I try to go to the internet it loads half of the page. Eventually I get this warning:
quote:
Check the firewall settings for the HTTP port (80) HTTPS port (443) and FTP port (21).
I'm using my computer for college and need to get full use. I can connect to my neighbors wifi and use it. But I can't send things to my wireless printer.
I need some more info here. I need to know some more setting to try and help you. First, OS are you using? What security settings do you have enabled on your computer? Are you running multiple firewalls or virus protection? Post the answers to these questions and I will see if I can help you. Also try to boot in safe mode with networking and see if it is still happening. You will need to hard connect your computer to the network for this to work.
Actually, call me. It will make this much easier and faster. #########. Hopefully you are watching the forum. I don't want my number up here in cyber space too long.
