Just thought I would offer a few suggestions for anyone that might like to play aircraft fighter games on their XBox 360.

I bought my sons (always have to say that to avoid admitting that I play them too.) both the OverG Fighters and the Ace Combat 6, Fire of Liberation.

In my opinion the OverG game is much better. Both have good quality detail but the difference is that in the OverG game, you fight today's aircraft, ships, helo's etc.

The Ace Combat, you fight against futuristic aircraft which I find annoying. It all depends on what you like.

Also, in the OverG game, you can take off and land from a carrier, Ace Combat you cannot. I think both allow online play but I am not certain of the Ace Combat one.

If you are into the WW II fighting, Blazing Angels, Squadrons of WW II is a really good game.

If I had the knowledge of how to make these games, I'd make one with various helicopters. I am surprised there aren't any good ones like that out there.

I'm kind of the opposite, I like Ace Combat much more than Over G. Over G is more of a sim game but it lacks the polish in the control scheme of the Ac Combat series. To me it feels like the planes in Ace Combat are much more responsive than the ones in Over G. It is kind of fun to take off and land on a carrier/landing strip.....but for me that gets old kind of quick. And the online play for Ace Combat is killer.

Not sure if Over G will get a sequel, as the sales numbers were pretty poor I believe. Ace Combat is an established franchise that will continue.
