Beat cod4 and was wondering if you all had any suggestions as to what my next game should be that follows the same type of game play that cod4 did. love the war themed games or first person shooters. any suggestions for the holiday season would be great.

Keep playing COD4 if you haven't unlocked everything online. Its great!

What is next after Call of Duty 4?

Call of Duty 5 maybe.

You can try Crysis if you want to story to it. Nice graphics and can be played online against others. If you don't care about story lines and haven's tried it yet, Battlefield 2 is a good FPS. No story line but ranks and new guns as you play. Lot's of other FPS's out there, you might have to do some looking for something that might hold your interest. Just my opinion though. There's not much in the way of quality military-themed FPS's on the way in the very near future.

The next Rainbow Six game is in the works as is the next Splinter Cell game. I'm sure the next Ghost Recon game is also well into development. The first one you'll see is the Splinter Cell game. I wouldn't expect a new COD game before late 2008.

Stay away from Activision's Soldier of Fortune. It blows.

Of course, I had to get my son COD 4 and Halo 3 the days they came out. Now, I am clueless as for what to get my sons for Christmas.
