I have a camcorder that records onto those mini-disk thingies. Well, now that I have some crap recorded onto that mini-disk thingie, I cannot get the information off that disk so I can send it to friends.

Help! How do I get the info off the mini-disk and into my computer?

Are you talking about the Mini DVD's? if so, use a laptop. They have the bearings for grip.
if not, then use the software the camcorder came with to transfer the video files from your device to laptop (via USB cable), in which afterwards, burn to DVD or CD.

I have a Mac laptop and it will not take a mini-DVD. I did not get software with the camera or a cable to hook it to a computer. Can’t find a cable to go from the camcorder to a computer.

wow, thats no good. Hmmm....well, the software should be available via manufactures website. I would check Froogle.com for the cable that goes from camcorder to PC/Mac. Should be a USB or Firewire cable.
