I just started getting into recording audio at my house. I've been to school for it before joining so I have a basic understanding of how everything flows and what to get in terms of sound equipment. My question is this: What would be a good sound card to buy for recording instruments such as guitar, base or possibly clarinet?

I was looking at the Echo MIA MIDI Digital Audio and MIDI Card and it seems to have good reviews on musicians friend. I've bought things from the site before and have had good experiences, I'm just looking for input from other users. I plan on recording music in the rock genre (everything from soft acoustic to extremely heavy, with some experimental thrown in, hence the clarinet). Thanks for your input!

Check this out. The review is a little dated but you can see what they thought of them all.
