| Go to the Good settings (the wrench). Here you will be able to change the icons across the top of your homescreen. On my phone (Samsung Jack) you push the right soft key the select add or remove (you can also move them up and down which will change the order from left to right on the homescreen).
Once you figure out how to add an icon just find the contacts icon (SIM contacts not Good contacts) and add it to your list, now you can just manually enter you conacts list from your homepage. If you don't use a stylus but use arrow buttons to navigate I recommend moving the contacts icon until it is the first one next to the lock icon, this makes it easier to access. I also recommend dumping one or two of the icons you don't use so they don't end up being the size of ants after they are all crammed in there.
Hope this helps, sorry if spelling is sloppy, my kids are jumpin on me! |

No joy. I just did this and the SIM contacts that I selected (and it even shows the SIM contacts icon on the home screen), BUT....it still opens the Good contacts. The dang Good software is over riding this phone and it is driving me crazy! I'm doing better than before with the freeze ups, but it still may not be worth the trouble I keep going through. I may hard reset it again and keep the Good software off the of the damned thing until I hear better results from some other users. |

| Even if you click on the contacts icon!!??.....Holy crap! I knew that this wouldn't fix the contacts "button" but it seems like something is wrong with the phone if clicking on the SIM icon takes you to Good contacts.....those two should be seperate areas inside the phone. Maybe a setting is defaulting to Good contacts.
Sorry it didn't work for you |

| I'll try to remember to ask about this at work.....a guy I work with has that phone and it's giving him all kinds of problems too. I'll see if he knows how to do this. |

ROLL TIDE ROLL!!

| Well....I pulled the trigger this morning (again) and did a hard reset of the phone to restore it to factory original. I'm done with the Good software until others can tell me that they fixed the problems that came with the new update. I took my phone off charge last night around 2200 when I went to bed with a 100% battery. Woke up this morning to a dead phone. With no apps running throughout the night, the Good software did whatever it did to drain my battery in an 8 hour time period. This is ridiculous!
.....so...my phone is back to original and working great! |
