My hard drive gave up the ghost and, of course, with it all my installed programs.

I reinstalled CS2 and am now having difficulty with opening jpg files because Photoshop wants me to install the JPG2000 (from Pegasus Imaging) plug-in. I did this but I still cannot open any jpg files.

Anyone know of a work around?

I found my own answer.

After some reinstalls, I found the culprit. It was a PEGFMT.8BI file under the Effects Directory. Anyway, its gone and I'll just stay away from JP2 files.
