Hello all, I'm thinking about adding about 2 more gigs to my Dell Demension 8300 and a new video card. I'm wanting to make it a better system for online gaming. Any recommendations on what video card to look for? How about processors? Right now I have a Pent 4, not sure if anything better is available.

Comes with all the adapters needed for older machines. Coworker who is a gamer says this is a killer card and a good price. It's AGP and supports directX 10.

I have a 8800GT in a P4/HT 2.4ghz machine with 1.5gb's of ram running XP and Linux. It only has 128mb of ram but it runs well.

Nothing I can’t play, but I am probably going to upgrade to a quad core this fall and sell my dual core and motherboard/ram. Right now i am thinking the AMD black box 2.5 GHz with 4 sticks of 2 gig ram DDR 2. Have not picked the new motherboard yet.
